Cutting house gets Creative

Trailer Park, one of Hollywood’s major trailer cutting houses, is merging with Creative Domain, a marketing materials firm that has focused on the homevid and vidgame arenas.

The two companies have overlapping client lists, including major studios 20th Century Fox, Walt Disney, DreamWorks, New Line, Paramount and Universal.

“Together, the capabilities of our two firms will allow us to deliver marketing services for our clients not only in theaters and on television but also via new distribution platforms, including cell phones, PDAs and other wireless devices,” said Trailer Park CEO Tim Nett.

In addition to trailers, TV spots and one-sheets, merged company will also offer services such as DVD navigation design, TV graphics and main title design.

Deal was financed by private equity firm Lake Capital. Creative Domain’s founders, Joel Johnston and Neal Spector, will continue on in their exec roles.
