NEW YORK — Al Roker Prods. has tapped Tracie Brennan VP of operations as the company expands its nonfiction production slate and digital initiatives.
Brennan, former manager of operations at Lifetime Studios, will manage day-to-day production, as well as move the company into high-definition television and the production of video for broadband.
Brennan comes to Roker’s production company from Atlantic Video at the Manhattan Center, where she was senior project manager. She will report to Al Roker Prods. prexy-CEO Lisa Sharkey.
NBC “Today” show weatherman Al Roker formed his production company in 1994 to develop outside projects. Company produces “Roker on the Road” for Food Network and “Al Roker Investigates” for Court TV, as well as other programming for NBC News, Lifetime, A&E, PBS and Discovery Channel.
