‘Prime’ time at museum

'Chris,' 'Invasion,' 'Earl' featured in MTR's screenings

The Museum of Television & Radio will host an “In the Prime” preview in Los Angeles and New York in September, showcasing some of this year’s buzzworthy primetime television series before their broadcast premieres.

Screening series, taking place Sept. 7-16, features upcoming shows such as “Invasion” (ABC), “My Name Is Earl” (NBC), “Everybody Hates Chris” (UPN) and “Supernatural” (the WB).

Each preview night will be devoted to a single broadcast network, which will present three hours of pilots in their entirety.

Fall preview party begins at 6 p.m., with screenings at 6:30 in New York and a 6:30 party with screenings at 7 p.m. in L.A.

Screenings are free.
