Kelly Kimball has been named senior VP at Gotham-based Krupp Kommunications.
She will oversee the agency’s media relations, marketing, lecture and event management teams, and drive the company’s overall corporate brand strategy, which includes K2’s philanthropic efforts.
Based in New York, Kimball will report to prexy-CEO Heidi Krupp.
Appointment is timed to the agency’s 10-year anniversary.
Kimball has created public relations campaigns for actors, directors, musicians, writers, films and TV programming. Most recently, she served as a corporate communications exec at CAA, where she worked with the motion picture and music departments and the CAA Foundation.
Previously, Kimball was director of public relations for Turner Network Television, where she oversaw efforts for live events, including the Screen Actors Guild Awards, and the cable network’s original series.
As a P.R. exec, she guided product launches for consumer brands and led special events, marketing and media relations initiatives for entertainment, fashion, finance, health, sports and technology clients.
K2 was founded in 1996 by Krupp. To date, agency reps over 35 books on the New York Times bestseller list.
