NBC Universal Domestic TV distribution has promoted Frances Manfredi to senior VP-general sales manager for cable and nontheatrical sales.
New title reps an expansion of Manfredi’s duties. As senior VP of cable sales, she licensed primetime network series such as “Las Vegas,” “Law & Order” and “Law & Order: Criminal Intent.”
When NBC took over Universal in May 2004, Manfredi shifted over to the merged company from her job as senior VP of cable sales for NBC Enterprises, where she engineered cable deals for off-network series such as “Crossing Jordan” and “Fear Factor.”
Before NBC, Manfredi held a number of marketing and sales jobs at CBS Inc., including VP of domestic-cable sales and special markets.
Manfredi succeeds Arthur Hasson, exec VP of sales and new business.
