Decision to ink due to Lipstone

BBC Worldwide Prods., the producer of ABC hit “Dancing With the Stars,” is waltzing over to ICM.

Beeb’s production unit has produced several U.S. reality skeins in recent years, including “Weakest Link” and “Dog Eat Dog.” Company also teamed with LMNO Prods. on the Eye summer sleeper “Fire Me, Please!”

Decision to ink with ICM comes after Greg Lipstone joined the tenpercentery from the William Morris Agency. Lipstone worked closely with BBC Worldwide when he was at WMA, and BBC execs said it made sense to continue that relationship.

ABC recently ordered a second season of “Dancing With the Stars” and decided to expand the show to a twice-weekly format when it returns sometime next season.
