Nickelodeon has tapped Nina Hahn VP of international development.
In the newly created position, Hahn will develop ideas and talent for Nickelodeon’s international channels. She also will scout formats and content from abroad to be developed for Nick’s U.S. flagship.
London-based exec, a longtime producer of kids programming, will report to both exec VP of production and development Marjorie Cohn and senior VP of Nickelodeon Intl. Steve Grieder.
“Nina will be connected with everything that we’re creating in the U.S. and ensure that we’re maximizing all opportunities for our global channels,” Cohn said. “She’ll also funnel new content initiatives back into the U.S., expanding our current pipeline with the best, freshest and most innovative creative out there.”
“Nina’s expertise and skill will play a crucial role in helping source the next big thing from around the world and develop that into a viable and powerful new proposition for our Nick channels,” Grieder added.
For the past 15 years, Hahn has consulted on the kids and family TV biz. Her clients have included Sony, HBO, GAS, Noggin/the N, Hasbro U.K. and National Geographic.
