Metrose's career at the net began in December 2003

Ian Metrose has been named VP of talent relations and special events inside CBS’ communications group.

Metrose handles all of CBS’ West Coast special events, such as the net’s series wrap and press tour events. He also handles talent relations and philanthropy for CBS, UPN and Paramount Network TV.

Metrose reports to CBS Communications Group senior VP Chris Ender.

“Ian thinks like a publicist when he designs and implements our events,” Ender said. “He’s very inventive in knitting together publicity, talent relations and special events in a way that brings more exposure to our shows and our stars.”

Metrose has served with CBS since December 2003, joining as director of talent relations and special events. He was previously director of special events and promotions at Fox Searchlight.

His resume also include almost nine years at Castle Rock Entertainment, handling promotions for “Seinfeld” and “The Shawshank Redemption,” among other projects.

At CBS, Metrose’s recent work included the “CSI” 100th episode party and the “Everybody Loves Raymond” finale party.
