ESPN taps Pepsi vet Lacey

Exec new senior veep of marketing

ESPN has tapped Katie Lacey as senior vice president of marketing.

She’ll report to marketing exec VP Sean Bratches and will oversee all marketing for ESPN as well as management of both ESPN and ABC Sports brands.

In addition, her responsibilities include supervising brand extensions and project management of ESPN-branded business activities supported by the Walt Disney Co., including the ESPN Zones.

Lacey comes to ESPN from nine years at the Pepsi-Cola Co. as VP of carbonated beverages.
