Dramatic shakeup at CBS

Zotnowski, Davis will serve as VPs under McKinnon

CBS has shuffled its drama development exec roster, naming two new execs to the department under topper Laverne McKinnon.

Robert Zotnowski and Christina Davis will both serve as vice president of drama series development and report to McKinnon, senior VP of the division.

Zotnowski had previously served as veep of current programs at CBS Entertainment, handling skeins such as “CSI” and its two spinoffs, “Everybody Loves Raymond” and “Two and a Half Men.”

Davis, meanwhile, had been director of drama series development at the net, helping with the launch of skeins including “CSI,” “Without a Trace,” “Cold Case” and “Joan of Arcadia.”

McKinnon said Zotnowski had been “integral” to the success of “CSI” and its two spawn, while Davis had demonstrated an “uncanny ability to discover new voices,” having brought “Without a Trace” creator Hank Steinberg to the net’s attention.

Zotnowski has been with CBS since 1998, joining as manager of current programs. Davis came to the Eye in 1997 as assistant to now-CBS Entertainment prexy Nina Tassler.
