Zanuck, Brown feted by Muybridge

Corman presented award to producers

Vet producers Richard Zanuck and David Brown received the Muybridge Lifetime Achievement Award Saturday at a Stanford in Hollywood conclave at the Bel Age Hotel.

Brown is a member of Stanford U.’s class of 1936; Zanuck is a 1956 grad. Duo have worked together since Brown headed the story department at 20th Century Fox, the studio run by Richard’s father, Darryl F. Zanuck, in the ’50s.

Roger Corman, Class of ’47, presented the award, and Daily Variety‘s chief film critic, Todd McCarthy ’72, moderated the discussion with the producers.
