'Hostage' takes hold of partygoers
NEW YORK — On the eve of Miramax’s premiere for actioner “Hostage,” the mini-major was left to wonder if single-digit temps and an ice storm might keep Hollywood’s weather wusses at bay.
Turns out, though, that if Bruce Willis is promised, not even frigid weather can keep the crowd away.
Pic’s star seems to attract an A-list entourage of all ages everywhere he goes, even in the most adverse conditions.
Guests who braved the cold on the Ziegfeld’s red carpet ranged from Sylvester Stallone to Lindsay Lohan.
Miramax honcho Harvey Weinstein also had a good time. He remained on hand until the wee hours, despite having to wing to LA Wednesday to put the finishing touches on an expected exit deal with Disney.
Also on hand were producer Bob Yari and brass from his Stratus Film Co. as well as Willis’ Cheyenne Enterprises and Equity Pictures.
Party followed at Planet Hollywood, where guests watched the city glaze over from inside the Times Square landmark.
