Kids’ WB! and Cartoon Network have jointly acquired “Monster Allergy.”
Time Warner sibs have ordered up 26 episodes of the series, which revolves around the adventures of 10-year-old Zick, who has the special ability to see the ghosts and monsters that live among us. Zick befriends the creatures that live in his home but also helps protect the city from less benign spooks.
“Monster” comes from Italian production company Rainbow. A premiere date has not been set on either network.
Kids’ WB! already airs foreign properties “Pokemon” and “Yu-Gi-Oh!” and has set Japanese import “Viewtiful Joe” for a November premiere.
