Tommy Curtis (“Red Dragon”) and Amber Heard (“Friday Night Lights”) have been tapped for roles in “Class Action” (working title), Warner Bros./Participant Prods.’ Niki Caro project.
Heard will play the young Josey Aimes (older version will be played by Charlize Theron), who filed a landmark sexual-harassment suit against the mining company where she worked. Curtis will play Aimes’ son. Frances McDormand, Sissy Spacek, Sean Bean and Woody Harrelson co-star in the pic that has begun lensing in Minnesota.
Curtis appeared in Arie Posin’s “The Chumscrubber,” which preemed at Sundance. Heard just wrapped New Line’s “Alpha Dog.”
