Telemundo pacts with Wal-Mart

Telemundo will supply Spanish-language programming snippets to run on in-store loops in 515 Wal-Mart stores in 14 states with big Hispanic populations, including California, Texas and Florida.

Deal goes through in-store network programmer Premier Retail Networks, a subsid of PRN Corp.

Telemundo will produce customized segs tied to seasonal initiatives related to family, home, entertainment and sports for the Wal-Mart Television Network. The 60-minute programming loop will feature a segment up to five minutes long of Telemundo content.
