NEW YORK — Scripps Networks is looking to nurture its digital networks by giving them their own division.
The Emerging Networks group will focus particularly on building up Scripps’ two biggest digital successes, DIY and Fine Living, both of which reach 30 million households.
Heading the group will be longtime programming exec Bob Baskerville, formerly senior veep of production at Scripps before becoming prexy of DIY in 2003.
Joining him will be Chad Youngblood as general manager of Fine Living.
Robyn Ulrich will be the group’s senior veep of marketing.
As a result of the move, L.A. outpost of Fine Living will join the Scripps base in Knoxville, Tenn.
