Puppy love in the park

'Manhattan' pic gets hometown welcome

What: A twilight bow on Saturday of New Regency’s “Little Manhattan,” capping the Central Park Film Festival.

Who: Helmer Mark Levin; writer Jennifer Flackett; pic’s Bradley Whitford, Cynthia Nixon and young thesps Josh Hutcherson and Charlie Ray; exec producer Kara Francis; and New Regency’s Sanford Panitch and Michael Brown

Where: Central Park

First love: According to Panitch, the pic, a romantic comedy about very first — think fifth grade — love appealed to New Regency because “the idea of making a true Nora Ephron romantic comedy, but they’re both 10, was a really inspired idea.”
