Short Take

Sundance Channel has picked up pay television rights to three seasons of the hit Australian sitcom “Kath & Kim.”

Cabler will begin by airing the third season in December, since the first two seasons have already aired on Trio. Sundance will reprise seasons one and two in early 2006.

Skein, created and written by Gina Riley and Jane Turner, follows the relationship between Kath (Turner) and her married daughter Kim (Riley) in a Melbourne suburb.
