NYU grad wins career trip

Nemoto wins VarietyCareers' 'Hollywood Agenda'

Pamela Nemoto, a graduate from the NYU Leonard Stern School of Business, is the winner of the VarietyCareers “Ultimate Hollywood Agenda” contest. Nemoto received her bachelor of science this past January.

The VarietyCareers “Ultimate Hollywood Agenda” contest ran from March 28 through May 31. During this time, VarietyCareers invited anyone who had a burning desire to work in the entertainment industry to enter. Applicants were required to submit answers to three entertainment-related questions. They also had to update or create their resume at www.varietycareers.com .

A panel of judges from Variety evaluated 1,600 entries and selected Nemoto as the winner based on the creativity and intelligence of her answers.

The prize Nemoto will receive includes travel to Los Angeles from July 27-29. During this time, VarietyCareers will arrange for her to meet with entertainment players who work in film buying — her specific area of interest.

Nemoto will also attend a Hollywood party and dine with Variety executives and surprise guests.

VarietyCareers (www.varietycareers.com) is a media and entertainment job site powered by the Variety Group publications, which include Variety, Broadcasting & Cable, Multichannel News and Video Business.
