HOLLYWOOD — Nicktoons, Nickelodeon’s 24-hour digital net dedicated to animation, is bringing back “The Ren & Stimpy Show.”
Series, which originally launched on Nickelodeon in 1991, will air weekdays at 11:30 and weekends at 11. Nicktoons has rights to all three seasons of the original series from creator John Kricfalusi.
“The show is timeless because it combines great style, great humor and a truckload of attitude. We’re excited about bringing this original Nick toon back to our audience,” said Nicktoons VP-general manager Keith Dawkins.
Skein will bow in August.
