NBC U unit lifts exec to CFO post

Boner to lead all finance issues for firstrun syndie biz

NBC Universal TV Distribution has upped vet exec Kevan Boner to senior VP and chief financial officer of the division.

Boner will lead all finance issues for the company’s firstrun syndication business, as well as its domestic and international TV distribution.

Boner has been with the company since 1994, joining as a senior analyst for Universal Studios’ corporate planning and working his way up to VP of planning and ultimates at Universal Pictures, where he handled all of the studio’s financial planning.

“He will be a key player in helping NBC Universal Television Distribution navigate through the ever-changing global content licensing business,” said NBC U TV Group exec veep-chief financial officer Andy Warren.

Boner’s previous credits include working on military and commercial aircraft projects at the Douglas Aircraft Co.
