NEW YORK — Judy Hottensen has been tapped as VP and publisher of Miramax Books. She joins the imprint from Grove/Atlantic, where she was most recently VP and director of marketing and publicity.

The exec has been involved with such book titles as “Cold Mountain,” “Sex and the City” and “Black Hawk Down.” She has worked with authors including Norman Mailer, P.J. O’Rourke, Jim Harrison and Studs Terkel.
