HOLLYWOOD — Showtime kicked off the sophomore season of “The L Word” Wednesday deep in the heart of West Hollywood at watering hole the Abbey.
Skein’s guest star Kelly Lynch, who plays a transvestite, is hoping people can see past the homosexual aspect of the show and concentrate on the storylines.
“My goal (while playing the part) was that even the most uptight, bigoted people in middle America would actually want my character and (Pam Grier‘s character) to get together.”
Showtime entertainment prexy Bob Greenblatt was quick to impart another reason why men should tune in.
“Beautiful women,” Greenblatt said. “Men don’t really care about the touchy-feely quotient.”
