Soon-to-depart SAG chief Bob Pisano is expected to remain on the guild’s payroll for two years as a consultant at $250,000 annually.
Though the CEO’s exit deal from SAG won’t be finalized until Sunday’s national board meeting, he’s expected to maintain ties with the guild after his April 9 ankling. After joining SAG in September 2001, Pisano signed a three-year contract in early 2004; his base salary for the most recent fiscal year was $419,691.
SAG’s top elected leaders have tapped AFTRA national exec director Greg Hessinger to succeed Pisano, who’s also expected to receive a $6,000 monthly pension once his consulting gig ends.
SAG spokesman Seth Oster said he could not comment on Pisano’s pact or his successor until after the board meeting.
