Hoffman takes Vox

World Brief

RTL has appointed Frank Hoffmann managing director of its sister channel Vox, effective April 1.

He succeeds Anke Schaeferkordt, who headed Vox for five years. Schaeferkordt recently moved to RTL TV, based in Cologne, to become chief operating officer and deputy to managing director Gerhard Zeiler.

Her transfer was part of the reshuffle after RTL Group CEO Zeiler again added oversight of RTL TV to his remit. Hoffmann has been with RTL TV for 13 years. Schaeferkordt will remain chairwoman of Vox’s supervisory board.
