Studios will have another entertainment marketing firm to tap in their bid to reach the fast-growing U.S. Hispanic market.
Anita Santiago Advertising joins the ranks of Latin World, Arenas Group and American Entertainment Marketing, among others, to provide custom Spanish-language marketing and advertising campaigns for pics.
The agency has launched a dedicated Hispanic marketing division headed by principal Anita Santiago along with industry vets Linda Ortiz and Patricia Gutierrez.
“The days of simply translating a commercial, trailer or print ad for the latest release are over,” said Santiago. “This group must be courted, and that courting must be done the right way.”
Anita Agency was founded in 1987 with Columbia Pictures’ “La Bamba” as its first client.
