Jensen moves from Moscow to Budapest
HOLLYWOOD — HBO Central Europe has moved Linda Jensen from her Moscow-based post as prexy of MTV Russia to Budapest, Hungary, where she will be CEO for HBO Central Europe.
She will oversee all business operations and 400 staffers at the HBO channels in the region.
HBO CE distributes basic and premium channels and has offices in Hungary, the Czech and Slovak republics, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovenia and Croatia.
She will report to the HBO CE board of directors, which includes representatives of partner companies HBO Inc., Walt Disney Television Intl. and Sony Pictures Entertainment.
Jensen was in Moscow for four years. Before that, she was director of development at Ronald Lauder’s Central European Media Enterprises (CME).
