Fox taps Lux for PR top spot

Exec to oversee studio's corporate communications activities

David Lux has been named president of corporate communications for 20th Century Fox. He will report to Jeffrey Godsick, studio exec veep of marketing.

Lux has taken his first studio job after spending the past four years as senior veep of corporate communications for ICM. Prior to that, he was director of PR for the William Morris Agency.

“David is a strategic thinker with a strong background in corporate and talent relations,” Godsick said. “He will be an invaluable asset to our department.”

Lux will oversee the studio’s corporate communications activities and corporate advertising, philanthropy and its awards campaigns.

“After eight years of working for talent agencies where it was all about the deal, I wanted to experience life at a studio, a step closer to the process where it’s about taking projects from inception to fruition,” Lux said.
