HOLLYWOOD — CBS vet Jeff Morritt has moved across town to sibling network UPN, joining the weblet as VP of advertising and promotion.
Morritt will oversee all of UPN’s on-air promos, as well as the net’s radio, print and outdoor ad campaigns. He’ll also be in charge of the net’s on-air promo department.
Morritt will report to Ron Scalera, exec VP and creative director of the CBS Marketing Group.
Exec previously served as creative director at CBS, which he joined in 1999. Before that, he was supervising producer and director at the Access Entertainment Network.
Credits also include a stint as writer-producer at the WB’s marketing department, where he helped launch and promote “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.”
Morritt also created, exec produced and directed PBS’ “Animal Tales.”
