HOLLYWOOD — Peter and Tara Guber opened up the gates to their Bel-Air manse Thursday for holistic healer Deepak Chopra and a slew of his followers.
Chopra was on the Left Coast to push his latest tome, “Peace Is the Way.”
“Every year I do something for one of (Chopra’s) books because he has such a great message,” said Tara Guber. “I especially did it tonight because it is an important time for people to come together under a roof and experience a sense of peace.”
After delivering a discourse, Chopra asked guests to close their eyes for a brief meditation period, which guest Dan Aykroyd was especially happy to do under the Gubers’ roof.
Aykroyd told Daily Variety, “Give me any reason to come to this magnificent home and I will.”
