Corrections

In an article in the Weekly Variety Cannes Special (May 9- 15) headlined ‘Cost of Entry,’ names of actual people were used in a fictionalized story about a made-up producer on his first Cannes jaunt.

It was erroneously suggested that Martinez Hotel general manager Sylvain Ercoli accepted a large gratuity and a madeup quote was put into the mouth of travel agency topper Gary Mansour.

Variety regrets any possible misinterpretation of what was supposed to be simply a lighthearted, fictionalized account of Cannes.

‘Midnight Movies’ will go to Starz after a theatrical run. Menemsha Films is selling the pic theatrically. Information was incorrect in Saturday’s Cannes Daily.
