Joely Fisher has signed on for a multiepisode arc on the second season of ABC’s “Desperate Housewives.”
The season finale of “DH” had Felicity Huffman’s Lynette poised to ankle the daily grind of Wisteria Lane in order to return to the workplace.
Beyond the fact that Fisher will play Lynette’s boss, no details of the role were available late Thursday.
Several well-known thesps are expected to stop by “DH” next season in various roles, starting with Alfre Woodard, who appeared in the final two segs of last season (Daily Variety, April 12).
Fisher recently starred in the Imagine/20th fertility clinic pilot “Born and Bred” for Fox. She also spent two years starring in the Lifetime drama “Wild Card,” which ended its run last season.
