The U.S.-India Business Alliance and Virginia Gov. Mark R. Warner wooed Bollywood exex on Friday during a trade visit to India.
Promising Bollywood filmmakers easier distribution for their product across the U.S., the USIBA sweetened the deal by offering hassle-free access to New York and Washington.
Gov. Warner rolled out the red carpet, offering production assistance, access to cheap local crews and financial incentives to producers who venture to Virginia locations.
“Bollywood is taken very seriously in the U.S. We can both be of great help to each other. Our scenic locations can be used for shooting, and we can be part of Bollywood projects,” the governor said.
