HOLLYWOOD — MTV Networks will launch Tempo, focused on Caribbean music and culture, across the Caribbean in October.

Ad-supported web will present original and acquired programming via a distrib deal with Innovative Cable TV.

It will expand to North America in 2006.

MTV also has inked a three-year partnership with Cable & Wireless to give subs of the telco’s mobile brand, bmobile, access to exclusive Tempo ring tones and wallpaper.
