Trio aid Thai tsunami relief

All proceeds from recording to go to Minor Tsunami Fund

SYDNEY — “The Lord of the Rings” producer Barrie Osborne, singer Roger Whittaker and Bangkok-based investment banker-producer Robert Mullis have joined forces to help a fund rebuild parts of Thailand devastated by the recent tsunami.

Whittaker has recorded the song “Two Hundred Thousand Souls,” being released worldwide today. The song can be downloaded from, and a CD will be released via Sony BMG.

All proceeds will go to the Minor Tsunami Fund, established by businesspeople in Thailand; aid will be directed to local agencies involved in recovery efforts.

Whittaker and Mullis were vacationing in Thailand when the tsunami struck.
