Leaders of the American Federation of Musicians have re-elected Thomas F. Lee as president for a third consecutive term.
Delegates to org’s 96th annual convention selected Lee over Ed Ward, former prexy of Local 10-208 and an executive board member.
Delegates also voted for Sam Folio over incumbent Florence Nelson for secretary-treasurer and re-elected Harold Bradley as VP over Ken Shirk and Keith Marugg.
Bobby Herriot, incumbent VP for Canada, defeated challenger David Jandrisch by a one-vote margin.
Five members at large were elected to the board — Hal Espinosa, president of Local 47 (Los Angeles); Mark Jones, president of Local 92 (Buffalo); Ray Hair, president of Local 72-147 (Dallas); David Lennon, president of Local 802 (New York City); and Joseph Parente, president of Local 77 (Philadelphia).
