On the heels of devoting an entire show to U2, Conan O’Brien has booked Neil Young as his musical guest for almost an entire week of shows.
Young will perform on “Late Night With Conan O’Brien” nightly from Nov. 1 to 4. Young’s latest album, “Prairie Wind,” was released Sept. 27 and sold 121,000 copies in its first two weeks.
“I wanted two solid months of Neil Young, but he told me it was, quote, getting creepy,” O’Brien joked. The show had done a similar stunt with the White Stripes earlier this year.
Young recently collaborated on a concert film directed by Jonathan Demme at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, the home of the Grand Ole Opry. Film is scheduled for a February release.
