Farrellys will ‘Kid’ around

Peter and Bobby Farrelly are close to inking a deal to rewrite and direct DreamWorks’ “The Heartbreak Kid,” which will likely be their next film. The romantic comedy is a loosely inspired remake of the 1972 movie written by Neil Simon and directed by Elaine May. The story concerns a man who hastily weds a woman he thinks is perfect — until he falls in love with another woman during their honeymoon. The Farrelly brothers remain committed to directing “The Three Stooges” but haven’t yet nailed down how they want to put the picture together.
