Schorr, Arnhold join Jazz board

Gimpel takes on CFO role

Paul C. Schorr IV and John P. Arnhold have joined the board of directors of nonprofit org Jazz at Lincoln Center. Freda Gimpel will take over as chief financial officer and oversee the organization’s accounting and financial planning.

Gimpel’s prior experience includes a stint as director of finance at the Metropolitan Opera from 2001-04. She was also director of administration and finance for the Florida Grand Opera and worked at the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts.

Schorr is managing partner of Citigroup Venture Capital, and Arnhold is chairman-CFO of Arnhold and S. Bleichroeder Advisers.
