Rocco Landesman has finalized his deal to buy the five Jujamcyn Theaters. After the Shuberts and Nederlanders, Jujamcyn owns the largest block of Broadway venues. They are the St. James, Al Hirschfeld, Virginia, Eugene O’Neill and Walter Kerr.
Landesman had been working on the deal since the death of the company’s chairman, James H. Binger, in November. He put the price for the theaters at under $30 million.
Landesman has been president of Jujamcyn since 1987.
