Baldwin set for Pels play

Thesp 'Entertaining' auds Off-B'way

Alec Baldwin toplines the Roundabout Theater Company’s Off Broadway production of “Entertaining Mr. Sloane,” set to open March 16 at the Laura Pels.

Helmed by Scott Ellis, who directed Baldwin in the Roundabout’s 2004 Broadway revival of “Twentieth Century,” show also stars Chris Carmack (“The OC”), Richard Easton (“Invention of Love”) and Lisa Emery (“The Women”).

In Joe Orton’s farce, a landlady (Emery), her brother (Baldwin) and their father (Easton) all vie for the attention of their new boarder, Mr. Sloane (Carmack). Limited engagement begins previews Feb. 17 and closes May 21.
