Gotham crix slaughtered the Yoko-approved tuner about the life and music of John Lennon, and auds seemed to agree.
The dismal attendance figures of the $7 million “Lennon” follow in the wake of “Good Vibrations,” the Beach Boys musical that wiped out last season.
The Elvis offering currently on the boards, “All Shook Up,” continues to struggle at the box office, playing to 37% capacity last week.
Next in the firing line: a bio of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, “Jersey Boys,” opening Nov. 6 at the newly rechristened August Wilson.
