Jackman to tour with 'Oz' Down Under

Hugh Jackman has been confirmed to star in an Aussie tour of “The Boy From Oz” next year, legit producers Ben Gannon and Robert Fox have announced.

Tuner, which tells the story of Aussie entertainer Peter Allen, earned Jackman a Tony Award in his Broadway debut.

Although the show originated in Oz, the “X-Men” thesp has never performed the role on home soil.

“The Boy From Oz” is a “celebration of not only a great Australian, but of what it means to be Australian,” Jackman said in a statement. “After a year with the show on Broadway, I can’t wait to sing ‘I Still Call Australia Home’ in Australia.”

Over 1 million Australians saw the original 1998 production of “The Boy From Oz,” Gannon said, “and we expect many of them, and many more, will be thrilled to see Hugh, one of our real international superstars, performing live on home ground.”

Dates and venues are yet to be announced.
