Caesars gets more of Elton

Singer will perform 150 more 'Piano' shows

Caesars Palace will have Elton John playing his “Red Piano” in Las Vegas through 2008.

John will perform 150 more shows at the resort’s Colosseum than previously contracted. “The Red Piano” originally was scheduled for 75 shows over three years; John completed the original commitment in fewer than 18 months.

“The Red Piano” was directed and designed by David LaChappelle and features John with band Davey Johnstone, Guy Babylon, Bob Birch, John Mahon and Nigel Olsson.

“Red Piano” runs will next be July 26-31 and Oct. 4-23.
