‘Buffalo’ gets Big

Thesp inks as Teach in Mamet play

Chris Noth, who played Big in “Sex and the City,” will take on the leading role of Teach in David Mamet’s “American Buffalo” this summer at the Berkshire Theater Festival in Stickbridge, Mass.

The production, which runs July 26 to Aug. 13, also features Sean Nelson, repeating his role of Bob from the 1996 film version of the play. James Frangione completes the three-character cast as Don in the Anders Cato-directed staging.

Noth was last seen on Broadway in the revival of Gore Vidal’s “The Best Man,” and was also involved in recent readings of Vidal’s new work, “On the March to the Sea.”
