Focus Features has upped Donna Dickman to senior veep of publicity. Exec runs the East Coast PR department for the Universal specialty arm headed by David Linde and James Schamus.
Dickman was upped from VP and will continue reporting to Los Angeles-based exec veep of publicity and marketing Adriene Bowles.
Move shores up Focus’ PR efforts following the expansion of genre unit Rogue.
Department also includes L.A.-based veepee Deette Kearns and director of national PR Harlan Gulko, as well as Gotham-based director of national PR V.J. Carbone and senior publicist Nicole Quenqua.
Dickman is currently at work on Focus campaigns for pics including “Broken Flowers” and “Brokeback Mountain.”
Exec has been with Focus since its inception in 2002. She has worked with Bowles for nearly 11 years and was formerly a staffer at USA Films and Gramercy Pictures.
Dickman has previously worked on pics including “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind,” “The Pianist” and “The Motorcycle Diaries.”
