Foldager set to produce Dane's pix
Meta Louise Foldager has replaced Vibeke Windelov at Zentropa Prods. as producer of the films of Danish helmer Lars von Trier.
Formerly at Nimbus Film, Foldager debuted as a producer in 2004 on helmer Nikolaj Arcel’s “King’s Game,” a B.O. hit in Denmark. She then produced Ole Christian Madsen’s critically acclaimed “Angels in Fast Motion.”
Foldager, 31, was awarded the Natsvaermer Prize for most promising talent at Copenhagen’s NatFilm Festival last year.
Von Trier’s upcoming projects include Danish-language comedy “Direktoren for det hele” (My Man the President), set for a 2007 release, and the third part of his America trilogy, “Wasington.”
Windelov, von Trier’s producer since 1995, ankled earlier this month. She will remain a co-owner of Zentropa and may return to producing films there in future.
