Studio nabs cheerleading 'It' pic

Disney’s Touchstone has purchased pitch “Don’t Shake It” from Tollin Robbins Prods. and scribe April Blair in a mid-six- against high-six-figure deal.

Story is set in the world of high school cheerleading.

Michael Tollin and Brian Robbins are producing. Tollin, Robbins and Sharla Sumpter Bridgett developed the pitch with Blair.

Sumpter Bridgett will oversee for Tollin Robbins. Karen Glass is on the project for the studio.

Blair, who has worked most of her career in below-the-line jobs, also adapted book “The Princess and the Pauper” for Disney and has “Major Movie Star” for Denise Di Novi and Benderspink set up at Warner Bros.
