Plexi turns on ‘Radio’

Short Take

Plexifilm has acquired all North American rights to the British Film Institute’s cult pic “Radio On.” Helmed by Brit Chris Petit and produced by Wim Wenders, pic is about a factory worker who drives from London to Bristol to investigate his brother’s death. During the road trip he encounters numerous individuals, including a garage mechanic (Sting) living in a Britain stricken by economic decline in the late ’70s. Pic is set for a June theatrical debut.
