Paramount draws a pair

Levine, Miner posted in veep positions

Paramount has tapped Dimension exec Dan Levine as senior VP of production and longtime analyst Mark Miner as senior VP of the story department.

Both will report to Brad Weston and Alli Shearmur, co-presidents of production for Paramount.

Levine was senior VP of development and production at Dimension for two years, overseeing features “The Amityville Horror” and “Pulse” as well as production deals with Todd Phillips, Platinum Dunes, Vertigo and Principato-Young Management.

He previously was exec VP of production at Jersey Films, serving as exec producer on “Along Came Polly,” co-producer on “Camp” and production exec for “Super Troopers.” Levine also set up “Freedom Writers” at Jersey and will exec produce.

Levine also was VP of development at New Regency and oversaw “L.A. Confidential,” “Fight Club” and “City of Angels.”

Miner was most recently at Universal, where he was involved in development of “Jurassic Park,” “Casino,” “The Bourne Supremacy,” “In Good Company” and “The Break-Up.” ///
